The proposed changes would rezone land around Money Lake Park as park land, legalize a shed on school grounds and correct park-zoning omissions, according to the meeting minutes.[1] The committee gave third readings to proposed bylaws 133 and 134 and forwarded them for Islands Trust Executive Committee approval; proposed bylaw 133 was also forwarded to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for approval.[1]
The minutes say the committee made two additional wording amendments before the third readings: one corrected a cross-reference in the land-use bylaw, and the other set out how certain features, including steps and balconies, may project into setback areas.[1]
The committee scheduled its next meeting for September 29, 2022, after discussing a possible September meeting to consider applications.[1]
